Finding: The lesion in the left central zone at the prostatic base demonstrates focal markedly reduced ADC and increased signal on the high b-value images, as well as corresponding focal early enhancement. The central zone contains a paucity of glandular tissue and is an uncommon site of origin of prostate tumors. It is scored in this example using peripheral zone scoring criteria.
